Dr. Luiz Auersvald
Luiz Augusto Auersvald is a board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon, as well as a full member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also the founding director of the Full Face and Neck Surgical Anatomy Course.
Dr. Auersvald holds dual board certifications in general surgery and plastic surgery from Santa Casa de São Paulo. After successfully completing the United States Medical Licensing Examinations, he gained extensive experience in clinical and laboratory research while working in the Department of Surgery at Yale University.
He actively participates in national and international plastic surgery congresses and webinars, delivering numerous lectures and courses each year. Additionally, he serves as the Deputy Chair of the Applied Anatomy Chapter of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Auersvald is the author and co-author of several scientific articles, with a primary focus on facial plastic surgery, including innovations such as the hemostatic net.
